COVID-19 has ushered in a new era of digital activism.
Since the COVID-19 outbreak, Citizens around the world are using Change.org’s technology to voice their concerns to their decision-makers hoping to influence their response to the spread of the pandemic. While advised to stay at home, people assembled online and turned to digital activism and different forms of protest to demand accountability and better action from their governments.
This August, the Change.org Foundation is launching a trends report capturing the data and stories behind this time of unprecedented civic engagement on and off our platform; civic engagement that led to social change around the world.
